Mascots + Texas = BIG
When Infinity Pro Sports asked us for two new mascots we expected some kind of challenge.
A ten foot tall challenge? Well sure!
After a few days of bantering back and forth over the safety of a twice-the-size-of-a-human mascot, our friends at the Texarkana Twins convinced us that down there Thunder would indeed be well taken care of. Thunder is happily entertaining the two-state fans in their inaugural season.
The BV Cavalry FC soccer team asked for a horse as well. He bears a star on his nose (of course, he IS Texan after all!) and wields a shield and sword to defend the Brazos Valley.
And to top it all off the fans came up with the best name for a horse.... Friday! You do know the reference, right?
"A cowboy rode into town on Friday, stayed three days, and rode out again on Friday. How did he do that?"
"The horse's name is Friday."
